Somewhere in the dark future: crystal

Earth is on the brink of collapse as mysterious overlords causes all robots to hunt all until nothing is left. Only a few soldiers, scientists, and survivors are hiding out. Trying to find anyways to get the upper hand scouts find a machine that could enhance people through mysterious mean, seeming to create super soldiers. The machine though had some strange text about transforming into a being night, a winged creature of blood. In an attempt to retrieve the machine to give themselves a fighting chance, they were followed by the robots. Crystal, the girl decided to jump in the machine to potentially help her and her fellow companions escape to the clutches of the overlords.
