The Approaching Storm

I've been drawing this type of griffin for a few years, and still really enjoy its look. Thie is the first really cartoony one I've done, but I think it turned out well. I always imagine the feathers as sharp, metalic feeling on the grey areas, then softening to the perfect flying consistancy on the light red/brown. You all will probably see more of these beauties coming out of me, so we'll see what I can do with them.
