Arduinna-Gaelic Goddess

Arduinna is the Gaelic goddess of the moon, woods and hunting in the Ardennes. "Lady of the Forests": The Celts of Gaul (France) honored Her as Goddess of Justice and Childbirth. The Ardennes Forest, named after Her, were Her special domain. She is accompanied by a boar, her sacred animal. The Romans equated her with their Diana.
