Old gods begin to awaken. The world has long since changed since they slept. No longer can they change the very fabric of time and space. So they seek a vassal, a host body from the world of men to channel their energies into. Some men offer themselves willingly, hungry for the power of cosmic beings. Others do so, because they see what would happen if they don't... Insidious forces are at work, and only the most unlikely character can stop them from bringing the world to ruin.
