Chelsea smile
it's in cool colors because it is supposed to kind of melt into the black background. the reason there are indentations inside the spikes of pain is because that it is supposed to represent demension of pain. the colors are to be scary, the sharp pointed edges represent pain, the shards of color around the mans face is pain. The reason this is in abstract is because It just felt right to do it that way. It is more expressive in abstract. My inspiration was the definition for Chelsea Smile. If you read it you can see that people rip open other peoples faces. Why would I be inspired by that? well, because Im creepy lol Chelsea Smile Definition ) A Glasgow smile (or Chelsea smile) is a nickname for the practice of cutting a victim's face from the edges of the mouth to the ears: the cut, or its scars, form an ''extension'' of a smile. Sometimes to even further hurt or even kill the victim, he or she would then be stabbed, most notably in the stomach, so that the their face would be ripped apart when they scream. The practice originated in the Scottish city of Glasgow, giving it its name.
