Life 2.0

This creature is non-organic, it is a robot, a machine. In the barren, highly radioactive remanents of a once beautiful planet home of an advanced civilization, this is all that remains. Yet, it stands guard in a dark corner, over silicon enveloppes filled with nanomachines feeding of the radiation and readying themselves to create new copies of the said machine. The cycle of life... anew?
