Daughters of the Sun
The land you see blooming before you is not an ordinary land. Those marvelous flowers aren't beautiful people, but they charm. They aren't strong, but they survive. They aren't smart, but they reach the top. No one knows how this field existed. Perhaps man helped them grow. Perhaps they grew randomly. All we know, is that those magnificent crowds of sunflowers face the sun with grace, arching their stems, reaching the light with warm hands, bracing it with passion, and then, and only then, would you see them reaching the sky, like a magnificent yellow bird. ~Equine A great thank you to everyone who kept me company while I was drawing this. You know who you are. :D Special thanks to Equine for the wonderful description and title. <3 ~clariecandy Ref pic: http://static.tumblr.com/a6hywwx/2Gfliy2xg/summer_sunflowers_1920.jpg
