The Fall

Mannes nature is growing dayly more and more into decay with the perishing worlde nowe hasting to his ende, is more subiecte too corruption, and less given too vertue than ever it was. Al good Arts and learning, have these yeares been so condemned, almost in every place come to decay. The Bodies above grow weary of our courses. The Aire withereth, for her heat is infected. Immateriall, divine, and aeternal essences shalbe withdrawn and the Creatyng of all things shalbe Discreated. (unknown author, sixteenth-century) [keywords:Competition 2014 Individual Competition]
