Humans

"...It's over" I always thought the world would end in fire. Either our sun would die five billion years later and wipe out our galaxy. Or a meteor would come and burn the earth like when the dinosaurs were erased from this earth. But in the end it was us ourselves that set the world on fire. And not even as far in the future as I had hoped. I weep for a tomorrow but it seems as if it's over. The nuclear weapons are wiping out this world by the second The military has kept us hostage, well I don't know what we really are to the military but they say we're important people to 'them' and so we have received shelter through the wastelands that have been created by the war. Some people try to inform their loved ones by writing on the walls of these shelters hoping that at least they have been saved and were important enough to be taken under the wing of the military. Sometimes you even hear them on the radio reporting of reunions by their headquarters. We look so pityful. And that we are. "Guys, it's time to move", says the man at the door as the radio stops its broadcast. [keywords:Competition 2014 Individual Competition]
