I'm a young foal that is lost in a long lost field waiting, watching for someone to see my scars. I’ve been treated; unkindly, and everyone who saw me, backed away. Every now and then I’d hear an elder horse in the distance that would call, and I’d answer back, and then they'd hear and answer again, and then go in the wrong direction. Sadly, they never found me. The grass is long enough for me to chew on, my mane and tail are long and I’m as wild and free as the bald eagle, which soars across the open range. The wind calls my name as I gallop, wildly, free across the open range with the eagle. I was born here, to help and protect my herd, after my father left. Now I’m in love with someone new. She's like a wild painted mustang, flying across the open range, with no reins holding her back. At heart, she never became broken. When I pass, the souls of the earth will pass the stories, of my legendry past. Now that I’m gone, and my legend stories are passed on. Oh, my son, keep my past with you. Follow my footsteps. And you too, shall be spoken of your past. Now that you have grown up, following my footsteps, still. Your sons and daughters will too, soon follow our footsteps. Now you have seen our spirits, they will be with ghosts. Of blue eyes and white bodies. Do not be afraid, we will guide you through you journey of danger and happiness. No man shall stand in your path, to break your wild spirit of freedom. Be strong and protect the herd to come. Even the herd of the future, is important to you now. Teach the young to run. If wranglers follow, trick and do everything in your power, to escape horror, the wrath of misery.
